HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel on business. Sometimes the only way to make the trip viable is to stay with people. I got hit with a layoff by the great recession. So rather than live off the Government I picked up my camera and my personality and make my own way with my own hands.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had great experiences so far! Nothing but kind people! Love it. I view it as a two way street. My hosts are being kind to me, I always find ways to give back so they know they are appreciated. They can expect their place and their time to be respected. I try to be the perfect house guest. I would never refuse anything but I prefer to give to my hosts rather than take any more from them. They've already done enough. In whether it's being clean or quiet, my goal is to be absolutely no trouble at all to host and for each host to say they received more than they gave.
I have met precious people who have shown kindness to a stranger. That alone earns my respect and friendship. I often stay in contact with people I stay with and sometimes stay again. I am invited back due to my friendliness, kindness and the manner in which I conducted myself in their home.

兴趣

I travel a lot on business. I have friends all over. It's great to make all the new friends through couch surfing!
