Traveling to Singapore 8 Sept to 13 Sept. Looking to connect with locals for sightseeing, conversation, drinks, meals, adventures and exploration. I have hotel accommodations already so I don't need a host. But friendly faces to meet and hang out with would be wonderful.

ABOUT ME

I love to travel, learn new languages, experience new cultures, and meet new and interesting people. I was born in the US (California), but grew up moving around a lot, and have lived in Africa, Europe, and Asia.
I currently live in New Hampshire, USA with my wife, son and daughter. I am a college professor, writer, speaker, and consultant. I speak decent German and French. My Spanish is rusty but will come back as we talk!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ran with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain.

Did the Coast to Coast walk across England.

Moved to Thailand for three months to train in Thai kickboxing (Muay Thai).

Wrote three books.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you some guitar, how to make a cocktail or a curry, how to defend yourself (either through logical argumentation, mediation skills, or kung fu!). We could talk philosophy, global capitalism, sustainability, religion, ethics, gardening, cooking.
