Okay, okay... I'll put the lame jokes to the side!

I've always been a traveler, whether moving between different states, or having a traveling job, I've seen a lot of the USA.

Originally from Michigan and wanting to move elsewhere, not knowing where to, I have decided to sell everything I owned and start walking across the country.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have embarked on a journey to walk from Delaware to California, following the American Discovery Trail. I started September 11, 2016, and expect to end in roughly a year.

I will be camping out for the majority of my trip in a 1-man tent, and was recommended this site as a way to meet people in the areas I will be venturing and potentially a couch to sleep on every once in a while (so to speak), or even just a yard to set up my tent in for the night.
