I am a creative person who's active in the arts community of Seattle and I enjoy exploring both culturally and within the natural beauty of our world. I'm lucky enough to have made a career out of my compassion and I'm always looking for new ways to connect with others so we can continue learning from each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am rich in time, but not always financial resources. Since I have a lot of time off, I want to travel and often cannot find friends to go with me, so being isolated in a hotel does not appeal to me. I'd rather stay somewhere that I can meet and learn from locals and have a much more personal experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It might be impossible to pick one thing. I've white water rafted glacial melt in Iceland the day before my brother got married. I've officiated a wedding just after equal marriage rights passed in MA. I've been awarded honors on my master's thesis from the founder of Cognitive Behavioral Psychology. I've given expert witness testimony in domestic violence cases and I've brought installation art to the Burning Man festival in the NV high dessert.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would be happy to share with my hosts many travel tales, of course! I'd also be happy to learn some culinary tricks from each other. I'd happily share in household duties or in creating a project together. I'd really enjoy sharing an outing or exchange of favored literature. I'm creative and adaptable, so would be happy to find new ways to share based on the interests of my hosts.
