I'm a pediatric occupational therapist currently working in the school system. I recently became a traveling therapist and am living in Santa Cruz, California! I live with my boyfriend and our cat in a one bedroom apartment in downtown Santa Cruz. I really enjoy board games, cooking & eating, and travel (duh).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've really enjoyed the shared AirBnB experiences I've had and would like to find more experiences in that vein. I also recently moved across the country so I'd like to make more connections with people, whether that be through hosting or staying.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: In general I like alt-pop, folk, indie stuff, etc. My favorite band is Death Cab for Cutie.
Movies: The running joke between my friends and I is that I don't watch movies, which does have grains of truth to it. The movies I went to see in theaters in the past year were Black Panther, Lady Bird, and the Disaster Artist.
Books: I read a lot as a kid but I like to joke that grad school beat that love out of me. I'm currently reading "Look Me in the Eye."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Along with my partner, I started a board game meetup that eventually grew to ~800 members before we moved away.

I can teach about cooking, board games, and child development. I'd like to learn more languages and more info that I can use in my profession. I can share food, tips, and conversation.
