ABOUT ME

Like everyone else on here, I love traveling and experiencing new places with new people. I spend my time outside whenever I can usually on the river or ocean in the summer months. I don't get to travel as much as I like anymore so when I do I try to make the most of it.

PHILOSOPHY

Do it once, do it right. Get the most you can out of every opportunity, every experience and learn from everyone you meet.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed a few times but hosted a lot while I lived in Jackson Hole, WY. What I enjoy most about CS is being able to provided experiences to travelers that they wouldn't ordinarily be able to have on their own. I try to make every visit special and memorable. It is truly the most rewarding feeling to see the excitement and smile on some one's face knowing you had a part in it. Like most of us, we all want to experience the culture of the areas we visit and really feel what it is like to be a local. CS is the way to do exactly that, and make some lifelong friends in the process.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Was introduced to the concept through my roommates a few years ago. We hosted around a dozen people from all parts of the country/world and immediately I saw what a positive and unique experience couch surfing could be. Since then I've had some great times with fellow couch surfers. It's been a very rewarding experience.

Anything that gets me outside, if I haven't tried it I will. I like to hike, mountain bike, fish, climb, wakeboard, cook, snowboard and go camping. I have been skydiving, bungee jumping, rode on a bull at the rodeo, and whitewater rafting on an inflatable couch and loved it.

I am open to try almost anything. One of the best parts of couch surfing is interacting with people you might not otherwise come in contact with. I like getting out of my comfort zone and letting them show me their interests that I would never experience on my own.
