我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm interested in international communication and sharing cultural experience. I want to show you that Russia is so much more than just "Vodka, Matryoshka, Balalaika". That's why I participated in various international events. I've been guiding foreign visitors at iVolga forum, CTF competition, and Summer Space School in Samara and working on social projects with AIESEC volunteers in Moskow. So now I want to take this experience even further by finding people with similar interests on CS so we all can learn a bit more about each other.

I prefer light-hearted movies with a unique visual style, but not limited to this category. Favorite directors are Edgar Wright, Wess Anderson, and Martin McDonagh.

Whatever Netflix produces.

BOOKS
1984 is the most life-changing book for now. I've read it several times and always found something new there. I mostly read fiction (e.g. Kurt Vonnegut, Neil Gaiman) although sometimes I prefer non-fiction. Some outstanding bit here is 'Harry Potter and Methods of Rationality', which basically is rationality 101 impersonated as children's book. Highly recommend!

Swimming in an outdoor pool in one seaside town. You could ask me what's so amazing about that. Let me tell:
- It was after a military conference,
- Colonels and generals were swimming as well,
- It was 2 a.m. in the morning and 7°C outside
