ABOUT ME

I'm a courteous dude who loves new experiences and interesting ideas. I'm always trying to improve myself... to be a better, kinder person, etc. I don't know how much progress I'm actually making, but, I try at least.

Interests

Reading good books, technology, poetry, Buddhist philosophy (though I wouldn't consider myself Buddhist), longboarding, hiking, travel (shocking :O), old nintendo / sega genesis games, computer programming, history, art, science, the universe :P.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two things stand out.
1. Looking at the stars on Cerro Pachon, a peak in the Chilean Andes (home to a fairly massive observatory).
2. Drinking beer out of the Stanley Cup. It sounds sort of dumb, but ice hockey is pretty much the national religion in Canada... after drinking out of the cup I was just filled with such a calm. It sounds funny, and it is, but it is also true (which makes it more funny).
