ABOUT ME

I was born in Manila, Philippines but raised in Edmonton, AB. I'm a cultural nomad so I love talking to people from various backgrounds and experiencing new cultures and visiting new places. My past full-time job involved meeting newcomers to Canada and letting them know about available resources so I meet people from different countries all the time.

I also love music and the arts - concerts, museums, etc. I also love trying new food and restos and very good at suggesting where to eat in the city.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

To be honest, none with people I didn't know. I've been a "couchsurf guest" with a couple of friends, one who was studying in Belgium and another one who lives in Vancouver. I've also been a "couchsurf host" a couple of times..once when a friend was locked out of his house and another time when an acquaintance-now-friend left her purse (with housekeys) at a restaurant. :)

The official CS sounds like a great way to save money and meet new people and I'm more than happy to let people know how secretly cool Edmonton is.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I love all kinds of music but mainly indie/alt rock, hip hop, and electronica. I also enjoy classical.

I'm a documentary nerd and love watching foreign films. My 3 favourite movies of all time are The Godfather, The Graduate, and the Painted Veil.

I climbed Mount Sinai in Egypt beginning at 1:30am in the morning and got to see a beautiful sunrise.
