I landed in Berkeley about four years ago after 11 years of seasonal work, travel and general good livin'. I'm amazed by life and nature and humans...

PHILOSOPHY

well, I started a long ramble here but quickly realized it was best suited for discussion over a beverage, or lying around in the sun.

In brief, I reckon I'm a "Pragmatic Optimist".
Know thyself, hold things lightly, see the beauty.
And seek the Beauty.
Embrace the Natural World, and hold Her closely.
I feel great and grateful and am continually amazed by life.
Amazed by both the ludicrous and the sublime.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met heaps of people from my jobs and travelling and have enjoyed primo hospitality from many. There's obvioulsy no comparison to knowing a local when you visit a place.
