PHILOSOPHY

Take me disappearing through the smoke rings of my mind, down the foggy ruins of time, far past the frozen leaves, the haunted, frightened trees, out to the windy beach, far from the twisted reach of crazy sorrow. Yes, to dance beneath the diamond sky with one hand waving free, silhouetted by the sea, circled by the circus sands, with all memory and fate driven deep beneath the waves.

Interests

My hobbies include ketchup, scootering around the neighborhood, playing Ultimate Frisbee and kickball, meta-organizing. In the near future I plan to write an essay on the deep human connections amongst the active members of the Minnesota Vikings football blog.

I've hiked part of the John Muir trail and thought I was going to get mauled by a bear (false alarm). I biked from Venice to Paris.

I know lots about Lebron James, Ultimate Frisbee, the Shambhala Retreat Center, and how to maintain good sleep hygiene. I know a bit about the industrial corn belt and mental health care policy. I want to learn cool facts about the universe, the histories of indigenous cultures, and how to roll my R's. I don't know how to lose at Connect 4.
