Learn, Love, Let Go
I'm trying to experience about a billion lives while my blood still flows, and maybe answer some of the countless questions that float across my mind. I'm an addict for information, a devotee of devilishly long nights and fortuitous circumstances, a teller of tales, and an easily excitable adventurer with an unusually advanced affection for alliteration.
And I can't wait to hear your story!
Break your foot tryna to kick it like I kick it
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I crash landed back on my parents' farm in Fall 2013 after spending two years abroad in Southeast Asia; I was working sometimes, traveling sometimes, partying often, and enjoying the warm weather on a daily basis.
After spending four, no, five? No! Six? Shit... seven? Fuck! Eight! Eight months in the farmland with the jumping cows and the clucking chickens I knew I needed to make a change or risk the kind of permanent insanity that is neither fun nor funny.
AND SO! The most recent development is my recent hop, skip, and stumble into the middle of lovely lovely BRONX. NEWWWWW YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORK CONCRETE JUNGLE WHHERRR - *ahem* Well, you know the rest.
So, I am in the city, working a bit, trying to work a bit more, attempting to stave off the bitter taste of poverty for a few moments (failing at that), but, all in all, things are gooood.
My roomie and I have an absolutely monster of an apartment. (Such is one of there better parts of life when you live faaaaarr up in the Bronx.) Lots of room for couchsurfers and those sunrise yoga sessions we enjoy so much. (Lies - at sunrise I am either still heavily inebriated and stumbling around looking for my apartment or in the midst of conquering a particularly challenging dragon in one of my excellent dreams.)
I love CS! And I would like to host/meet up with cool/creative/interesting/exciting/bizarre people whenever I/we have a chance.
So, gimmee a message and lemmee know what your DEAL is. NO COPYPASTA. We ain't eating those noodles around here, Sonny!
I hosted a bunch of folks at my apartment in Phnom Penh, and surfed a liitttttle in Vietnam. Most of my experience comes from meeting the amazing couchsurfing community. Many of the best friends I had in Cambodia and Vietnam I met through this awesome little site.
