So here is about me. 😊

I am a Buddhist monk originally from Sri Lanka, now living and working in Germany. My journey as a monk began at the age of 11, fulfilling my heartfelt wish to dedicate myself to the Buddhist way of life. Growing up in a Buddhist temple, I developed a deep connection to spiritual practice, which continues to guide and inspire me every day.

I am very grateful for this path and the opportunity to live a life of mindfulness, compassion, and spiritual growth. Living in Germany has allowed me to embrace new experiences while sharing the teachings of Buddhism with others.

I truly enjoy meeting new people, sharing knowledge, and exchanging ideas. You are very welcome to visit me at my home, where I can host you, or we can simply meet for a cup of tea and meaningful conversation. Feel free to reach out—I’m looking forward to connecting with you!🙏

If U stay at least two weeks in Germany, pls then buy the Deutschland ticket. Note: it will be 58€ from January 2025. Believe me it's still worthy. U can go, travel in Germany any public transport without ICE & IC trains. Including 7 counties. 😉

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing because it’s a wonderful community that brings people together. Many friends recommended it to me, saying it’s a great way to connect with travelers from all over the world. As a Buddhist monk, I can teach meditation,(Samatha and Vipassana) offer language lessons, provide counseling for day-to-day life, and share wisdom through attentive listening—these are the ways I connect and support to this CS community!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share the practice of meditation, insights into Buddhist philosophy, guidance on mindfulness and compassion, life counseling, and meaningful conversations. I can also offer a peaceful environment for reflection and a chance to experience the simplicity and harmony of a monk’s lifestyle. And of course a home for you to feel!
