About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to come hang out. We'll make dinner and have a concert and drink things.

ABOUT ME

I'm a musician primarily. I'm in a band called Eskimo + Sons and also another one called Doubledutch. Most of my life is dedicated to these. I also like to write, I think I would enjoy writing books in my old age. I like to read, but I don't do it often and I haven't read too many books. I'm interested in Abraham Lincoln historian. I really love that dude. I really want to meet as many people as possible on earth and develop good collections of friends all over the place.

PHILOSOPHY

This is changing a lot. I want to move around like I did when I was a kid. And make music all the time. I want to get as close as I can to God. Find a nice wife, maybe? Hell yeah, dad. I don't know. I know a lot about not knowing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like alot of different bands at different times but the ones that are constant are probably The Red River, Mt. Eerie, Sufjan Stevens, Jens Lekman, Smog, Big L, Sean Price, Papoose and Daft Punk.

I don't know too many books but I really like this book called Lincoln by David Herbert Donald. And I have this one book that I just read little by little, like how you read the Bible. It's a collection of Abraham Lincoln's letters and speeches, etc. Also I like 100 Years of Solitude and the Picture of Dorian Gray, and On the Road, The General in His Labyrinth, A Confederate General from Big Sur, Blood Meridian... I don't know. Every Roald Dahl book was my favorite when I was younger, especially Danny the Champion of the World. I really like reading things my friends write more than anything.

I don't know movies too well either. But I like Lost in Translation alot, and No Country for Old Men and There Will Be Blood, Dead Man, Once Upon a Time in the West, pretty much the same thing everyone likes. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stated a band. Went on tour. Lived a lot of places. Just being here is crazy, right dad?

Teach, Learn, Share

I just want to be a better person.
