CURRENT MISSION

My MISSION! What a wandering question. I guess I'm here to learn, and help others learn. But I don't know exactly what that means. Wanna go for a walk?

ABOUT ME

Alllll about me. I would leave this blank to represent that I feel like a slate open for all interpretations and types of adventures, but I fear it would only appear like I was lazy.

I come from a small town in Wisconsin, and went to school with the same 50 kids from age three to age 18. Then I went all the way out west to California for University. Manifest destiny, right? To be in such an adventurous place with a base in a loving town in the middle of nowhere has given me a great attitude with which to view the world. What is this attitude? Everything is awesome!! (and RECIPROCAL!) Karma or something. "Good things happen to the happy man."

I suppose I'm just another ambulant 20 year old wanting to do good in this world. Yay!

PHILOSOPHY

I am a Yes Person. I like to say yes. My favorite adventure the next one. But I'm also pretty responsible, and kind of a nerd. An adrenaline junkie who could spend all night playing board games.

I am comfortable doing almost anything, and am comfortable with other people doing whatever in the world they want as long as it doesn't hurt others.

I am striving always for more balance in my life. I like the buddhist idea of being aware of where we place our attention. I love to hike and be outdoors, up for any excursion and also love to be calm indoors, as well as party in cities or in houses.

Here in Chile people have taken to calling me their "Cherubin," and laughing when I do things very un-cherubic.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only discovered the glory couchsurfing recently, being hosted by people in Santiago and attending a Chile reunion in Valle de Elqui!

Intereses

I love stars and kayaking (whitewater, please!) and skiing. I play the ukulele and piano and board games and school and soccer and life. I sing (have acted in over five, ie six, musicals) and dance (salsa, anyone?) and clearly like runon sentences but it's just because i'm so excited!

Algo increíble que he hecho

I have stood at the base of a rainbow while the rain was falling up. It was at a bridge in Zambia in front of Victoria Falls, the rainbow was in the mist of the falls which was shooting upwards. The spectrum bent around the bridge and came right back up to our feet. It was surreal and amazing.
