Hi! My name is Danielle, I’m from England and I love to travel. I just graduated from university and decided to travel around South America for the next few months to explore the varied landscapes and cultures this continent has to offer. I have travelled a lot around Europe and South America already, and even lived in Spain on my year abroad, and I’m always eager to meet new people and learn from their different perspectives.

I’ve always loved travelling but the more and more I travel the more tired I become of the same hostel environments. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good family hostel and I’ve found some true gems on my travels ! But I’m looking to branch out and experience something different. I think the best way to see a place is often through the eyes of a local who lives there, so I thought meeting up with other couchsurfers might be a fun change from my usual travel routine.

I love reading books and watching films. Spent four years reading books for my literature degree so recently I am enjoying reading what I want when I want as long as it doesn’t sound like it’s come from a reading list on 18th century prose. The last film to make me cry was beautiful boy. The last film to make me laugh was the proposal. My favourite film still currently stands as Brooklyn. But I love all genres of film and am always open to watching new styles.
