About Me

In Belém for a while. Available for hang outs and exploring the city and sorroundings together.

CURRENT MISSIONS

Discover Teresina! To live and let live. To visit all brazilian states: 20 out of 27 so far.

ABOUT ME

Traveling doesn't make me an anti-capitalist guy.
I'm not fond of that against-the-system mentality popular among CSers, as they've showed me its enormous inconsistencies and contradictions.

Both the decision to leave everything behind and carelessness about money don't make one neither intellectually nor spiritually more illuminated than the ones who stay home to build a solid ground for the future.
They are all choices that depict our freedom to plan our lives.

I feel more inspired by the ones who take action to achieve the changes they want in the world. Not by that blaming capitalism hype. More life, less ideology.

Futhermore,

I would like you to figure out that Teresina is not only a stopover in the map of northern Brazil.

PHILOSOPHY

Simple life. Cool head on the pillow.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The typical surfers I host are people who visit Teresina as a stopover and they come either from northeast to amazon or follow the opposite direction. Many Hitchhikers. I have learnt from them how to be fearless and manage the situations you face in such cases.

Still waiting to learn much more from you surfers!

Interests

Old school couchsurfers. Sports. Specially outdoor sports like mountain bike and trekking.Germany and german language. Coins and bills from other countries, maybe you can bring me some!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling to Finnland, the most different place from home I have ever seen.
Winterkurs at University Essen.

My Couchsurfing debut was a trip along the brazilian east side for less than one month. From Teresina to Maceió by car, through Fortaleza and Natal; then by plane to Belo Horizonte, São Paulo and Florianopólis. Then back by plane to Maceio, picked up my car, down to Aracaju, and finally all the way back to Teresina through Maragogi, Pernambuco and Canoa Quebrada.

I will do something similar westwards!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Through my references you see that I truly appreciate the cultural exchange that couchsurfing provides. I'm eager to learn about your routine and share mine.

I'm also able to return the favor and host most of my hosts and people I come across, as long as they are true couchsurfers.

I help with food and fuel costs, if it's the case.
If I manage, I can bring something representative of my hometown.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, England, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Netherlands, Paraguay, Peru, Scotland, Switzerland, Uruguay, Venezuela

Countries I’ve Lived In
