About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find out the secrets of the World.
ABOUT ME
I am a very happy person. It is not uncommon to see me laughing or smiling in the street (probably remembering some funny moment in my life). I believe that if everyone put a grin on their face, this world would be a better place. Some of the most memorable people in my life have been those that have simply flashed a smile as they passed. I have an undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Alberta, although at the current time I have not intention of using it. If anything, the people in the program have taught me what I dont want: an office, lots of money, a fancy car, and a beautiful house. I am very happy to just have a roof to stay under, as long as it is in another country, on in which I have something to learn. I plan on doing some UN work after my backpacking days are over, which may well be a few years. Of course Im scared of what my parents think, being an electrician and secretary and having very normal lives, but I am sure they are more than supportive behind the scenes. As it stands, I am happy to be alive and able to travel!
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that its not where you are, but who you are with and how you feel (somewhat ripped off of the Beach, my favorite movie ever...) It sure is nice to see some beautiful architecture and scenery, but in the end, travel is travel because of the many different people you meet and the experiences you share with them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently travelling, being a travelling bum by couch surfing, trying to see as much of the world while I dont have a job, school, girlfriend, house or vehicle.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have only had two nights so far, and have also attended a meeting in Helsinki. From what I have seen, I know that couchsrufing is one big group of people that all think the same. I like how the name couchsurfing alone weeds out rude, arrogant, and shallow people, because these people are those who would much rather stay in a hotel that on a strangers couch.

Music, Movies, and Books
American Beauty, The Beach, Braveheart, Donnie Darko, Vanilla Sky, Any thing Paulo Coehlo (he is a man that has definetly reach self-actualization), high-school cirriculum books (they pick them for a reason), I mostly listen to rock and soft rock (which are huge genres in themselves), but have lately developed a great appreciation for reggae and techno as I travel
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sat at the top of Guiness brewery, having a beer and staring in amazement, trying not to cry from the beauty. Walking downtown London with some amazing Azzies, just taking in the nightlife and not caring how stupid our 80s dance moves were.
Sitting around with normal people, drinking beer and talking about whatever comes into your mind. After all, we talked about the big things and the small things, but there really is nothing bigger than the small things (another bad quote from Vanilla Sky)
Countries I’ve Visited
