ABOUT ME

Challenging myself every now to learn something new has been the constant thing in my life. It has led to discover a new side of me, which I never knew existed and every new day, I find myself being a new person.

Currently, I am doing my Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering. My work is on air conditioning technology. The plan is to help save energy and keep our mother nature green. So I am officially a "cool" guy :)

During day I like to go out on hikes to new spots and take cool pictures. At night, I like going to clubs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently i go on treks with the local CS group whenever i am free during my semester. I have also started attending the coffee/pub meetings where I am getting rich and colorful experiences from experienced surfers :). Later on i would like to host people when i am settled with job :) [just one more year to go \m/]

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was hosted in Italy for couple of days by Ciro. It was my first time with CS and it was very nice of him and his girlfriend to show me around their city and treat me to good food.

I have been on treks with Mumbai CSers. It is always great to meet new people who share same interests and also to learn from them.

In First Friday meetups at Powai I have met experienced CS hosts who share their wonderful stories and perspective and I am pretty sure will guide me once I start hosting :)

Interests

History! I pretty much used to enjoy world history classes during high school. I also watch movies / documentaries. I have some interest in photography.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music : A R Rehman , SEL from India, Elton John, Avril Lavigne , Iron Maiden , Metallica ! I am generally fan of a song rather than a band.
Books: Oh I have read a lot! But mostly on the fiction side. Finished Harry Potter series, Sherlock Holmes, Louis L'amour books. Recently I have started reading books like the Alchemist. Maybe I am maturing :P

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Me and my friends were out on a trek and decided to get high. After getting high, I could image myself climbing a very steep unscalable slope. I actually went ahead and climbed it. Though I got stuck midway and sobered up pretty quick. Thats another story :P
