Enjoying the holidays with my wonderful family, before departing on a traveling adventure in January.

ABOUT ME

I am a senior at Elon University, NC. I am studying to become an elementary school teacher. I have a passion and a skill for teaching and look forward to spending the rest of my days working with kids. At my college, I am a fraternity man and a student leader. I love to travel, though I don't get to do it as much as I want. I am gay and single. I was born and raised in a quaint town in Ohio with my very close-knit family of which I am the youngest of 3 kids. So far my life has been pretty sheltered and "typical", and I'm grateful for all the blessings I have had, but I'm ready and eager to expand my horizons.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that a person is a sum of their experiences. The more experiences I have, and the more people and ideas that I encounter, the more complete of a person I will become.

I am a very positive and happy person. I think everyone is good at heart and everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt. I am ridiculously optimistic and see every challenge as an opportunity. I think the most fulfilling way to spend a lifetime is making life brighter for others.

I am logical, rational, and organized but do enjoy being spontaneous when it makes sense to be. I think you're wasting your time on this earth if you are not enjoying every minute of it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am completely new to this. I have a 2 day layover in San Fran next month, and I don't know anyone there (yet), but I love traveling to new places and meeting new people, so a friend recommended checking out this site. It looks like a great community, and I'm excited to trying out couch surfing for the first time soon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet, but looking forward to trying it.

兴趣

Climbing anything and everything - rock climbing, tree climbing. I love heights and nature. I'd down for any outdoor sport, like rafting or hiking. I am an experienced skier and a beginning surfer.
