About Me

I'm an adrenaline seeker, an adventure junkie, a movie freak, a nonbeliever in both Disney's and religion as well, and.. 3 things I worship the most in life wud be colors, music, and great fiction stories well written on books or movies.
I'm half Balinese half Javanese.
On the weekend I usually love to join some artsy events, coming to loud music concerts, playing Board Games, or simply going to movie theaters, after having a great foods, drink, and laugh with friends.
That.. if I'm not in a some kind of impulsive getaway trip ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Honestly? To enrich my knowledge with various culture. To fulfill my unstoppable-never ending curiosity, upon many things. And by being a host in CS sounds almost as good as to travel by myself.

Interests

Art, in various forms. I love paintings, sculpture, dance, music.
I sketch, or carving woods, or sewing, or do one of those "Martha Stewart-thingy" during my window of time.

1 thing, more than favoring to have a great time spend over great laughs, an intense intellectual conversations would be 1 of my guilty pleasure. Some kind of valium to my brain. Which the funny thing is, I often had it with a stranger, someone I barely knew, who grew up in a total different culture with me. Oh, I really treasure this! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

BOOKS:
I love any stories written by Lewis Carroll, Roald Dahl, Ayn Rand, Lian Hearn, Jon Krakauer, Yann Martell, Enid Blyton, Tom Clancy, Charles Dickens, Haruki Murakami, Frederick Forsyth, Gillian Flynn, Michael Scott, oh... it's gonna be a hell long list!
Yesss, suuure... Shakespeare, J.K. Rowlings, and J.R.R Tolkien too! ♡ 'em!
But, no, no Harlequin, Chicken Soup series, nor chick-lit. NOPE! *shudder*

I love both Star Wars & Star Trek equally.
and.... both DC & Marvel, equally too. :)

MOVIES:
Euh, where to start. The list will be bloody too long, am afraid it's gonna bore you. Basically the kind of my fave movies are quite similar with kind of books (fiction) that I love to read. The ones that give us a long deep thinking, twisted mind, or lost in awe.
Which means.. cheesy drama, silly comedy, shallow boyish-toy movies, or slasher gory, would hardly be my choice.

MUSIC:
My playlist are my within reach sanctuary. If I were to choose a particular genre that I listen to most, I would say the rock bands whose into intense strong drum & bass, and the ones what they call IDM, or Intelligent Dance Music.
My fave: U2, Sting, Nine Inch Nails, Incubus, Thirty Seconds To Mars, Foo Fighters, Radiohead, The XX, The 1975, Sade, Nirvana, Coldplay, etc.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Indonesian culture: the language, our arts (basic knowledge, and for some, practicing on how to make them), culinary, and getting to know geographically & having a glance from anthropology view (let's go traveling!).

I'd like to learn about your culture, and maybe a little of your language.
