I am a 28-year old girl from Lisbon, Portugal. I have always been interested in exploring other countries and I am currently doing an MBA at Insead - a business school with 2 campuses, one in France and another one in Singapore. I did my undergraduate degree in business, in Portugal and Italy (where I did an exchange in Milan). Prior to the MBA, I was working in Consulting, in Portugal. So far, I have worked in Portugal, Spain and Singapore. During all these periods abroad I have lived with other people and I think I am a very easy-going person to live with.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently traveling solo in the USA and was introduced to the concept of couchsurfing by a friend I met in Washington. Before, I had been staying in hostels and making friends from literally everywhere in this planet. I think couchsurfing is a great opportunity to take it to the next level!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not sure if amazing, but some cool things I’ve done are: + Met a North-Korean defector + Had lunch with the Portuguese prime minister + Slept in the jungle and fed orangotangos in their natural environment (Sumatra) + Hiked Mount Fuji + Listened to a jazz concert in Times Square + Saw the sunrise from the top of a temple in Myanmar + Drove in a motor bike with 3 people in the streets of Hanoi

I am super happy to talk about all my travels and tell you about the gems I’ve discovered so far :) I’m from Europe and this year I’ve travelled a lot in the Southeast and East Asia region. I am currently exploring the US and I can’t wait for my next adventure to come!
