Hi All! My name is Diana, I have a degree in landscape architecture and have worked in the professional world for a year. I started traveling at 16 when I went to New York and fell in love (not with the city, but with experiencing a new place and seeing new people living their normal lives in a place that seemed foreign to me). Since then I've been to Europe twice, visiting and exploring 9 countries, made my way to Peru, Mexico, and Canada, and most recently have road tripped across the US for three months and seen enough states that I've lost count! I've recently quit my office job to adventure, explore, and travel the world that I felt I was missing from over the last year! Next week I leave for a cycling trip with two friends where we will attempt to ride 2,000 miles from Vancouver, Canada, to Mexico. After that trip my best friend and I have a ticket to Spain and from there, the world is our oyster! I like to try new things as often as possible, stay curious, have good conversation, enjoy a good wine, cook, travel (obviously) and a lot more...see my interests below!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music, such a hard interest to narrow down! Classic rock, folk, soul, jazz, Motown, indie, alternative, rock. And a guilty pleasure, Disney soundtracks! The lion king specifically. :)

I'm not a huge movie buff but enjoy them whenever I do watch them! Some of my favorites off the top of my head: The Graduate, Moonrise Kingdom, The Lion King (duh!), Breakfast at Tiffany's, Dances With Wolves

Like music, narrowing down my interest of books is a hard task. I'll read almost anything and enjoy it. My favorite is historical fiction. And my favorite book off the top of my head is The Grapes of Wrath

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sled down a glacier in Peru on a plastic garbage bag shared with my best friend. I fell off the bag and completely tore my leg open on the ice! Then proceeded to hike 10 more miles down the mountain with a bleeding leg to make it back to our bus. Oh not to mention it was freezing cold and snowing and I was in shorts! I promise I'm much smarter than this story makes me sound, it was just an unfortunate series of events leading up to this moment!
