Because I finished the first part of my studies last year I wanted to do like a brake and go abroad. Right now I'm doing a voluntary service in Varna, Bulgaria for nine months. I want to take the chance to travel around, to see more of the world, to meet new people and to learn a lot of new things.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I discovered Couchsurfing as a great opportunity for me to get to know the details of the culture and the cities/countries. Visiting the sights doesn't teach you the whole story. This is why I want to see a lot of different things when I'm travelling - at the best through the eyes of people who are living there.

兴趣

If there's sun I really like to take part in the cultural events of my city, meeting with friends, exploring more places of my environment, enjoying the life,... When it's cold and rainy outside I love reading and watching movies. Besides I'm really interested in new recipes from different countries! I already started to cook wit people from France, Spain, Portugal, Bulgaria but I want more - so let's cook together! :-)

There are a lot of movies I really love: The Blind Side, Despicable Me, Le huitième jour, The Notebook, Nirgendwo in Afrika, Intouchables, The Broken Circle Breakdown ...
For me these are movies which aren't the typical Hollywood story, but movies with a deeper story line. AND: I'm always in search for new movies which I don't know yet!

Because in this way I'm the typical German it was really amazing for me doing a trip to Greece without any plans for accomodation - and we did it! To see the helpfulness of the people was really amazing and impressive!
