About Me

Hi there...

Looking to get away for a little while and am not into the hostel scene anymore. I would like to have a place where I can chill out, practice yoga, read and rejuvenate.

I am respectful of others space and like a lot of personal time to do things like yoga and be in nature, but I also love having meaningful conversations and having meaningful interactions with others.

I have my 200 hr certification in yoga, did organic farming all throughout my 20s along with many road trips around the U.S. and Canada, and have been all over Latin America. I now am back at school learning about indigenous cultures, sustainability and agroecology and want to find a way to do relevant work within these areas.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would rather stay with locals who know the area over being in hostels with other travelers, and want to meet interesting people in the process.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like a strange combination of bluegrass, the blues/jazz and electronic/chill music. Right now I play a lot of Elephant Revival, Mandolin Orange, Horse Feathers, Madeleine Peyroux, Odesza, Yppah, Tycho, and all other kinds of random music depending on my mood

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am grateful to have done many amazing things, but I guess one that sticks out was being able to live in Alaska (one amazing place) for two summers (amazing thing x2)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I know a fair amount about farming, although I say this with the utmost humility because farming definitely requires a beginners mind. I can teach you some yoga and pranayama. I also am very into being healthy and have had to learn much about alternative health on my own journey and am happy to share.
