I am a writer and filmmaker. I have extensive experience in the film industry, and I also lead workshops on pitching and mastering communication skills. I keep busy with my writing projects, lots of reading, and guitar and piano courses at the local college. Thank you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was the caregiver to my mom, who had Alzheimer's disease and passed away earlier this year (2019). As you can imagine, I rarely got a chance to travel for the past few years. I am finally starting to venture out into the world again, so I am registered on Couchsurfing to make it financially feasible and exciting (meeting new people and exploring never before visited sites) to travel again.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took a hiatus from my active career to focus my energies on caring for my ailing mother. I brought her to live with me so that I could enjoy her company before Alzheimer's ravaged her mind. The remarkable part of this experience isn't that I put my life on hold for my mom, but rather that I got the chance to tap into my strength of character and take a stand for her. I had the opportunity to learn what I am made of, and this is the most fantastic lesson that life could have served me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am exceptionally talented in the field of communication--both verbal and written. Furthermore, I have taught pitching at film schools, so I can help anyone to develop their own distinct form of self-expression. I think it makes all of the difference in the world when we are confident that we are able to pitch/communicate powerfully with anyone, anywhere, about anything, at any time!

I am also very skilled with technology, anything Apple, and social media in general.
