Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I believe in the power of connecting with people and experiencing destinations through the eyes of locals. Traveling is not just about visiting places; it's about understanding cultures and building meaningful connections.
Couchsurfing provides a unique opportunity to immerse myself in different communities, share stories, and create lasting friendships.

Interests

I have quite a few things that keep me busy.

I really enjoy cooking and trying new recipes. I like inviting friends over and sharing food together. When I travel, I often try to take cooking classes to learn local dishes. Recently I also discovered that baking is surprisingly fun.

Also,dancing became a big part of my life. I started learning bachata, kizomba and salsa, and now I rarely miss a bachata social. It’s honestly one of the things that makes me happiest.

I’m also learning Spanish. I fell in love with the language after my first day in Uruguay and since then I’ve been trying to improve little by little. My goal is to eventually speak it fluently.

I also spend time volunteering with dogs. I help at shelters and sometimes foster dogs, which is something I really care about.

And of course, I love traveling. That’s probably the most obvious one.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in books leans towards the dystopian, with "Atlas Shrugged" standing out as a personal favorite. War-themed books also captivate my interest. Yet, when it comes to cherished authors, E.M. Remarque and Murakami are at the top of my list!

When it comes to music, I'm an all-genre enthusiast, no preferences.

As for movies, I'm equally versatile, ranging from animated delights to chilling horrors, depending on my mood. But I must say, "The Office" holds a special place as the
absolute best in my eyes! 😄
