Hi I'm Dee!

I was born in Lithuania and have been travelling most of my life! I have lived in England for most of it (Luton, Liverpool, Sheffield, London) and have lived in Orlando, Florida and Auckland, New Zealand in between!

This summer I am swapping my Big City London Life for calmer sea side living in south France. My main goal is to leave feeling more confident with the language - I studied it for 9 years and then haven't had the opportunity to practice, and the best way for me to learn is to get immersed in it!

I'm hoping to meet fellow travelers and good spirited people who are as curious about the world as me and might even like to visit me back in Lithuania in July or in Liverpool in August and beyond... who knows where I will be in a years time?!

I look forward to eventually finding a home where I can be the host, but until then, I am very excited for new experiences during my travels and making lovely new friends!

I would really like to stay with some locals who can show me what it's like to really live in south of France. Of course I'm interested in the 'touristy stuff' but I'd like to get to know what life is like here, where you hang out, what you do for fun, what the food is like, the local businesses you support!

I grew up with a lot of Blues and Reggae, huge fan of Rock/Pop Punk, Grunge, old school Hip Hop, Kitsune Maison, house and most festival vibes!

I fought along side unions to give people a voice, and left with them workers feeling like they had more power and will to stand up for themselves.

The purpose of my travel here in France is to pick up French.

I would also like to learn more guitar and more about rock climbing given the opportunity.

I can teach you how to make some yummy homely world food!
