About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Try a hot chocolate in every country around the globe.

ABOUT ME

I am a friendly canadian/romanian trying to meet interesting people. I've been traveling since I was 6 years old and sometimes felt like I was torn between two countries, never truly belonging to one or the other. But now that I am no longer a teenager (hahaha!), I can see I was lucky to be exposed to different cultures from a young age. I want to make the most of the opportunities I have in life to experience the best...and the worst (sometimes)!

Interests

Well, I'm interested in travelling of course. I love to read and take long walks on the beach...No! Just kidding!

Music, Movies, and Books

I truly love discovering new music. It is one of the things I love best about travelling. I have recently found out about gnaoua, a typical moroccan type of music.

The last book I read (finished it 2 days ago) was La Peste from Albert Camus. It was about time because I ve wanted to read it since high school. Quite an impressive book in my opinion. I thought the theme would bore me after a while (the whole book is set during the plague) but the writer has a wonderful style and manages to make you laugh and smile at the strangest moments. I preferred it to his other classic, L Etranger.

I have to admit I devour books at an alarming rate when I am on holidays. My favorite writers are Daniel Pennac, Neil Gaiman (I can t wait to see Coraline...I did not have the time to see it before leaving!), Charlotte Bronte (can t find the right e on this keyboard) and Ayn Rand (the Fountainhead was a very hard book to read for me).

Countries I’ve Visited
