I am an avid cyclist and have traveled extensively in my lifetime. I'm passionate about the Italian culture and have been learning Italian for the last year. My life is about cycling (& racing), learning Italian, and spending quality time with friends & family.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to offer possible lodging in my Encinitas home. I'd also like to travel to places & couch surf myself. The best trips I have taken are the ones where I know someone that lives in the area. It makes a big difference when you can visit with a local & soak up the local culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have competed in 3 Ironmans (2007, 2008, 2010), rode my bike in 3 big climbs in France - 2010, ran Boston marathon (personal marathon record of 3 hours 35 minutes), ran from the north rim to south rim grand canyon, I rode my bike about 5,500 miles in 2012, I race my bike in road races, I love to climb elevation on my bike.
