About Me
CURRENT MISSION
keep learning forever
ABOUT ME
I have a tendency to pick up hobbies and then forget about them as soon as I attain some level of competency. They are usually art, biology, or dance related, as a result there are lots of things I can do but aren't great at. For example: capoiera, lichen identification, batik, piano, knitting, bug collecting, growing succulents, baking, brewing bear, salsa dancing, pastels, sewing...
I like to be surrounded by good people, grew up in a family of 7, and have been living in cooperatives for the past five years. I tend to like everyone. The two funniest people I've ever met are currently housemates of mine. We like to drink a good beer and tell a few jokes but we are more the stay at home and relax type than the go out and party hard type.
PHILOSOPHY
My mission in life is to practice compassion. It's harder than it seems.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I just joined and am looking forward to being a part of this! I have a new house, and finally somewhere to host guests. I've also been visiting science museums all over the country as part of my job and I would like to start taking a few personal days at the cities I visit to see what they are like.

I've heard only good things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Some of my local sidewalks are over 100 years old and host three species of lichen and five species of plants. I think that's pretty amazing.
