Overview
About Me
Never been much of a traveller. Slowly developing a passion for travelling. Growing up, family vacations usually were relaxed weeks in amazing beaches or enjoying rollercoaster rides in amusement parks - kinda cool though! I can share my favorites :)
I am amazed by people with different opinions and points of view. Usually lead to the best conversations.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Of course the cost side of travelling usually dampens the whole experience and that's the main reason why I didnt' get to see as much countries as I would like. Couchsurfing allows for a cool experience that can make trips less expensive and allows for me to get to know interesting people - at least that's what I've heard ;)
Interests
Really enjoy eating so, cooking is one of my ultimate favorite activities ;) Still like to eat out and try different cuisines and then attempt to replicate them at home in healthier ways.
This brings me to my other passion, health. I'm currently into the whole "healthy lifestyle" movement but I might have to admit that it has been more learning than praticising - still working on it.
My every day-to-day consists in long walks, gym, binge watching TV series and cooking. All this while avoiding studying, of course.

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to music, I've had different (and somewhat random) phases throughout the years. Currently going through a pop-ish and R&B phase. Will always have a special love for Beyonce.
My favorite movies are Inception, Intouchables and The Shawshank Redemption.
When it comes to (not-so) guilty preasures, I like watching animated movies. Some of my favorites are Inside Out, Aladin and Nemo.
The books on my shelf are usually school books or business-related. For fiction, I tend to go for portuguese authors - I recommend you Blindness by José Saramago.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Roadtrip through the whole coast of São Miguel, an Azorean Island in Portugal.
- Top of the Eiffel Tower while snowing over Paris.
Teach, Learn, Share
Being portuguese, I can teach you the language of course but also how to cook some portuguese dishes and desserts. If you're not that big of a kitchen fan, I can just cook you something - as long as we share the dishes ;)
I believe that people can learn the most from others, not only through their experiences but by understanding other perspectives and how to think differently. Trying to learn something new every day, even if it seems simple or obvious.
