I’m an enthusiastic person with a positive attitude. I love to have people around me all the time and I’m always on the move. Friendships are very important to me and you can describe me as a loyal friend. Besides loyal I’m terribly curious and impatient. In my communication I’m straight to the point and honest. I appreciate it when people treat me the same way. Besides all that I thinks it’s most important to have fun and laugh a lot.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I’m complete new on CS. In December I’ll be travelling in Australia for a month. I’m still looking for a place to stay for a couple of night during NYE in Sydney. Through friends I heard of CS and it seems a perfect oppotunity to check out CS!

Interests

My favorite hobby is travelling around the world; meet new people, see other parts of the world, discover other cultures, explore nature and of course enjoy the relaxed backpackers ambience.
In the Netherlands I live in The Hague in an apartment near the city center. I work fulltime as a Human Resources Advisor in a leading and innovative company in the agricultural business. I love my job and I spend a lot of time working. I get a lot of satisfaction and energy from having busy days and being able to make a difference.
In the evenings and weekends I like to go out for diner, drink cocktail with friends in the city center or just at home, go to the movies and of course severy now and then I also need to go out to a club and dance.

Music, Movies, and Books

Without music I would lose my mind, I can relax by a good television series, reading I do too little. I love different kinds of music, as long as it isn’t something like heavy metal. I’ve seen a lot of movies, but you make me really happy with a good series (Dexter, Homeland, Damages, White Collar, Strike back, etc…..)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve seen and done a lot of amazing things, difficult to point one out! I think my number one should be the Gibbon Experience in Laos. Three days in the jungle, sleeping in tree houses 60 meters above the jungle, zip lining from one side to the other. Wauw, what an experience!

Teach, Learn, Share

I think we learn from each other every day, useful but also silly stuff. I believe that’s what makes life fun and interesting.
