I am an open minded yet down to earth person. I love travelling and learning about different cultures and people. I am a mother of two kids and working as a cultural consultant in the human rights field. I am back to University part time, to get a degree in English and German literature which is my second hobby after travelling. I don't smoke and I just drink occasionally.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to host people from different part of the world, because I like meeting new people and maybe want to use Couchsurfing for my own travel trips in the future, because I think the best way to get o know a culture is through the contact to people.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is HipHop, Reggae and Dancehall. I love music and consider it a bid part of my life!
I like a whole lot of different movies. From comedy to drama, to thriller and documentations-it just has to be somehow appealing to me ;) Like for example Boys in the Hood, Menace to society, Sarafina, Django unchained, Deadpool, Hot Shots, Sleepers...just to name a few.
I read a lot and have a lot of favorite authors and books but as one of my favorite authors Jamaica Kincaid comes to my mind first and as favorite book "Like the flowing river" by Paulo Coelho.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in Bermuda for a while and studied and lived in Jamaica. Both wonderful experiences that I would not want to miss.
