ABOUT ME

Well, I'm a 34 yo girl. I grew up in Colombia, all my family was born there, but few of them remain in the country. My sisters and I decided to look for other destinations around the word, given that in our country life can sometimes be complicated. I adore my homeland, don't misunderstand me. Maybe it's just that we are up for adventures and new experiences. When I was 23, I moved to Chile, where I spend 10 years. So I'm part chilean, too. I know it can sound a bit cliché, but half of my heart feels chilean, if not more. After many years of standing not so good weather (but amazing friends and landscapes!!!!) I decided to move again, this time to Barcelona. I'm in love with this city. We have been in this difficult relationship for almost two years, but charm and spark remains. And please note that I'm not talking about a guy!! The rest we can chat when we meet...somewhere!!!!!

PHILOSOPHY

Wawww...this is not an easy one. I guess I don't have a defined philosophy anymore. I used to have a lot of ideas of how to live life, but as the years gone by I learned that nothing is really true, all depends of which kind of eyes you look life, the state of your soul...and that depends of the times you are living. Ok, ok, I'm giving philosofical cuotes...sorry. But the most important thing I've learned: It's better to have friends than money!!!!!!!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm able to show my city around, maybe pick up you at the airport (depends on the hour you arrive, I'm a 8-17 working girl!) I'd be happy to acomodate you at home, but I live with other three people, so maybe that would't be possible all times. I'd like to share my experience with you, give you advices about how to discover the true Barcelona, not that built for tourists. And I'd love to travel around with a bunch of you!!!!!!!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a lot latinamerican literature, but I'm trying to explore other types of literature , to broad my view. LOVE Cortazar, Benedetti, Vargas Llosa, Mutis...trying to get away from them!! I like all kinds of music, U2 is may favorite at all.
Movies? mmmm... better to write about what I DON'T like: action, karate, war or terror.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I swam with pink dolphins in the Amazonas river many years ago. It was like a dream...they are REALLY pink!!Gorgeous
