Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first found out about couch surfing when I was living in Munich, and I met two magicians (French and Chilean) who didn't have a place to stay that night andended up staying at mine. It was such a great day getting to know new people, seeing some magic, participating a a 200+ person snowball fight and then going for some hot chocolate. Definitely looking for more similar experiences :)
I have also enjoyed doing a couple of workaway/woofing/helpx's which I feel have a similar energy and aim to couchsurfing.
