Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because staying with a native of the place I am visiting allows me to learn more about the people and the culture. I like to see landmarks and famous places, but I want to make a personal connection with the place, not just tour.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Bluegrass, country, Irish, classical, sertanejo

Movies: The Princess Bride, The Secret of Roan Innish, any movie that is funny or is a love story.

Books: mostly non-fiction. I use books to learn.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in Brazil with a family for two months when I was 17. It changed my perspective on the world.
