Overview
About Me
We are a family of four (Rod, Dianna, and a girl and boy 2 who are 6 and 4 yrs old; we also have a teenager who is with us sometimes).
Dianna: Seeker and appreciator of natural and wild spaces, of quiet and slowing down. Grateful mom of young kids. Big fan of good food, new experiences, and meaningful connection. I especially enjoy learning, being and moving in rural or wild areas, reading, watching kids discover, observing wildlife, and enjoying companionship among family and friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I first used couch surfing in 2009 in Portugal as a student. For many years I've traveled off of this platform, having "forgotten" the magic of this type of experience. I return to the couch surfing community now with my family (husband, daughter age 6, and son age 4) to connect more deeply with the world. My goal is to engage with and experience life with my family meaningfully, joyfully, and with deep appreciation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Dianna climbed mountains in Morocco to measure high-altitude lizards. Gave birth to our son in our apartment in Ecuador during the pandemic.
Rodney built a log cabin in Fairbanks, Alaska. He traveled in the Galapagos and spent one month in India.
