ABOUT ME

I'm 25, living in Singapore. I moved here from Hong Kong where I was living the last year and a half. Born and raised in downtown Toronto.

I am a chef by trade but also a photographer, writer and videographer, and I play a little music.

I went to film school and currently I'm working as the head chef for an expanding restaurant company that let's me travel around Asia.

I've traveled all over Canada and The USA, by bicycle, hitch-hiking, backpacking and trains. This year I've been around south east Asia a little bit and got to do a little traveling in Europe.

PHILOSOPHY

The world is what you make it. When Ghandi said "be the change you want to see in the world" he didnt only mean be a great example for others to follow, he meant, live the way you want to live, no matter how much resistance you encounter. This is how I try to be, as true to myself as I can be no matter how much the world may try and change it, while always keeping an open mind.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been hosted dozens of times, and in Toronto I was able to host several people as well. The hosting felt really good and made a few life long friends out of the experience.

I am often not able to host given my busy work schedule and often temporary living situation.
But any community meet ups I'm happy to meet new people.

Cycled the California coast through Big Sur, it was part of my trip across America by bike, but that one section was incredible.
