About Me

Carefree adventurous fun loving traveler out there seeing the world,
I love the outdoors, that's why I enjoy Hawaii and other beautiful places.
My last trip was to the Grand Canyon where I lucked out and saw several California Condors fly right over. I visit Yosemite, which is the greatest place,
and I enjoy the drive up Big Sur CA coast as often as I can, driving to fantastic places in Northern CA, like Marin county.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best part of traveling for me is meeting people when I get there. It brings the
whole experience to life and enriches my trip. I would love to meet you.

Interests

I am hoping to get to see the Monaco F-1 gran prix when I visit Europe, party on the Tour de France circuit, explore the huge cave in Viet-Nam, and see the great waterfalls of the world like Iguazu, Victoria, and Niagra.
I share my excitement for culture by meeting others here at home at the various international venues and festivals of which we have many here in San Diego.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm into the classic rockers, Rolling Stones, AC/DC, STevie Ray Vaughn, I dig the Blues and enjoy Willie Nelson and his style of CW. Chris Botti is another favorite.
And don't forget Sting, one of the gods of music.

I enjoy a lot of movies and see quite a few each year. This year has sucked so far,
but last year Revenant I had to see twice it was just so good.
Avatar was pretty cool. but not Star Wars, too much old boring scenes.
Give me something new and different.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have climbed Half Dome twice, Scuba in Cozumel, Snow Skied in Lake Tahoe,
Rafted the Colorado river in the Grand Canyon, explored many caves, hiked the massive sand dunes of Death Valley, and boated through the Everglades.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I could take you out to dinner at your favorite restaurant.
