ABOUT ME
I wish around like mouthwash, and settle when the
kettle whistles.
I am working as a Buddhist Chaplain in the Emory Health Care System in Atlanta. It is humbling and ever interesting work thus far.
PHILOSOPHY
Possibilities are endless! So be creative!
Being is being made by us!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Giving people a place to learn, grow, and connect, when possible. And hope for the same space from others, when
possible.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In Chicago, I dumpster dove for some fantastic chocolate bread, and ran birthday-suit style into Lake Michigan during a perfect storm.
In Arcata, I met Rasta John, who loved some didge playing and told me that people do not know how to live anymore
In Montreal, I stayed in an apartment renovated with all recycled materials
Interests
Digging my heels into the sand, rolling in dirt, eating fresh purple kale, blowing some didge, rocking the tabla, spinning good old records (and new ones), Vipassana (True Seeing) Meditation, and finding & sipping good teas.
Dance parties, soul trains included, with good friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
Check out Cities of Red Night By William Burroughs.
I have really become quite a fan of Squeeze of the past couple of years. Even if you don't like the song "tempted", give Squeeze another Shot, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
The most wildly excellent film I have ever seen is Weekend, a Jean-Luc Godard film, especially the traffic scene in the French countryside.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hanging out at a slack line in Yosemite with my home girl Marina (Russian Doll Figure on CS), when all of sudden a mommy bear and three of her cubs come strollin some fifty feet from us! Wowzers!
Teach, Learn, Share
I learned a simple way to save tons of Drinkable water last month and have been saving gallons a day since. (Thanks to Coop Generuex in Montreal)
Homemade Grey Water System: Save all Sink & Shower water in Buckets. With its yellow let it be mellow gold. When brown comes to town use the buckets of water to flush it down. You never have to flush the toilet again. It just takes simple adjustments, but the system is incredibly simple and incredibly efficient.
