Overview
About Me
I am a PhD Student in Number Theory in Paris, spending the current year visiting a researcher in Göttingen, Germany. I am Brazilian by my mother, and like traveling and meeting people.
More about my mathematical research interests and some documents can be found at my homepage, lesesvre.perso.math.cnrs.fr.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For living is more about sharing and meeting than selling services. In a world where so many people cannot afford much, technology opened new ways to travel and discover for more people, and I want to be part of this adventure, hosting and being hosted as well.
Interests
I am deeply interested in all kind of educational issues, and led a science vulgarization association for eight years (www.gics.fr). My background is mainly a mathematical one, yet I studied history and philosophy of sciences for some years and get strongly attached to some of its purposes and views. I felt in love with wine, and more generally the palace of tastes, and created a wine tasting association at the ENS where I studied.

Music, Movies, and Books
If I have to choose one of each, that were for me a real spiritual slap, they would be:
- Book: A. Damasio, La Horde du Contrevent
- Movie: M. Haneke, Funny Games
- Music: Schubert, Death and the Maiden
I cannot refrain to mention two more books: In Search of Lost Time of Proust, and Monte-Cristo of Dumas.
