Start studying animation so I can tell stories in my favourite medium.

ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty easy going guy, I like coffee and wouldn't mind a bit of Baileys in it. I love travelling and wish I had the money to do it more often. I try to enjoy myself as much as possible by hanging out with friends, watching tv-shows and filling sketchbook after sketchbook with doodles.
The most important year of my life was the one I spent in Canada as an exchange student. I learnt so much about myself and met some of my closest friends there. It really cemented my belief that travel is one of the best ways to learn not only about the world but also about yourself. I'm constantly trying to save up money to go back and visit my friends there.

I'm a feminist and try to be as aware as possible of my varying privileges, so I can work on minimizing the harm I do.

PHILOSOPHY

As before mentioned, I am a feminist and I believe the Kyriarchy affects us all and thus we should all be united in trying to dissolve it.

Even though there's a lot of terrible things in the world today, I believe in humanity. Maybe not that we're good or bad, but that we have the potential to do good and that there will always be those who choose to do so. I have no patience for nihilism or the kind of people that truly believe humans are horrible and a lost cause.

I also believe in the power of stories, and how they shape our society. They are my passion and as such I've decided to become a storyteller myself. I'm currently working on fulfilling that dream.

Interests

Drawing, storytelling and animation! Also travelling of course, haha. I'd like to work with animated movies or tv-shows someday and I'm currently pursuing that dream.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite movies are Hanna, Serenity and the Lion King. I enjoy pretty much anything by Pixar and Studio Ghibli.
For live action shows Community, Elementary, and Firefly are some of my favourites. I also enjoy Buffy, Angel, Bones and Game of Thrones.
I'm a big fan of Adventure Time, Steven Universe and Gurren Lagann.

Books I've read and enjoyed include Harry Potter, Skulduggery Pleasant, and most recently, The Ocean at the end of the Lane by Neil Gaiman. I'm also a big fan of the Scott Pilgrim graphic novels!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on an exchange to Ontario, Canada for a year. During that time I met some of the most amazing people, and saw some really awe inspiring sights. I also went on a one month roadtrip around the US at the end of the year.
