Soy Diego, originario de Monterrey, México. Amante de la naturaleza, la música, el arte, la arquitectura, el cine, entre otras cosas. Mochilero desde los 16, cicloviajero por Sudamérica desde hace tres años.
Me gusta viajar por el mundo y conocer las diversas culturas que lo habitamos.
Actualmente me encuentro en España realizando una formación como educador en paisaje.

ABOUT ME

I'm Diego from Monterrey, Mexico. I love nature, music, art, architecture, films, among many other inspirational things. I love traveling and meeting new people and cultures.
I'm an architect developing in landscape architecture and permaculture so I love visiting cities, interesting buildings, little towns and most of all inmersive experiences in nature. I also like getting to know the places deeply and I also enjoy so much going out into the wild.

[2025] I am currently traveling in bicycle around Europe with my girlfriend Isadora from Brasil. We've been camping a lot and getting to know so many nice places and people and we are very greatful for that. We won't ask for any special needs if we stay with you but we would love to share moments and good talks. We are not making simple tourism, we are in an amazing journey and experience called life.We are also busking around playing some Samba and Bossa Nova rythms among other nice latin music.

EXPERIENCIA CS
Mi primer viaje como mochilero a los 16 años fue en el sureste mexicano. Conocí muchísimos viajeros y viajeras que me abrieron mucho los ojos a la enorme comunidad y al hermoso estilo de vida nómada.
Desde entonces he recorrido mucho mi propio país, hice un viaje a Europa donde recorrí varios países en tren y en bicicleta. Ahora estoy recorriendo latinoamérica en bicicleta y afortunadamente puedo decir que siempre he contado con el apoyo de la comunidad CS.
Creo en el recibir y el dar como un flujo constante. Creo en la comunidad y en la cooperación como las bases para una mejor sociedad.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm from Mexico and I can say I have traveled a lot (even though I can still travel way much more) in my own country. I have traveled along some european and latin american countries. In my journeys I have learned that meeting with locals or people that have been living in the city I'm visiting can teach me the most and the best of the place. I enjoy a lot learning about history and apreciate it through the architecture and landscapes as a general perspective but also in the eyes of the people who actually live there.
I have Couchsurfed officialy and extraofficialy (not with the app) and have met awesome people. I have opened my mind a lot and I'm willing to do it even more.

My favorite movies are from all over the world. To name just some of my favourite directors directors: Kubrick, Tarantino, Lars Von Trier, Aronofsky, Almodóvar, Cuarón, Iñárritu (I'm a good fan of mexican cinema), among many others
Fav books: Pedro Páramo, Cien años de soledad, Rayuela, Ficciones, The unbearable weighness of being, Brave New World, The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, Sophie's World, The Catcher In The Rye. Jorge Luis Borges, Carlos Fuentes and Gabriel García Márquez are some of my favorite authors.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Viajo por latinoamérica en bicicleta. Crucé dos veces la cordillera blanca del Perú a 4500msnm. He subido al cráter de un volcán dormido para mirar de cerca las erupciones de un volcán activo en Guatemala. He colaborado en la construcción de viviendas en diferentes regiones del mundo (México, Ecuador, España y Argentina). Toco guitarra y percusiones y me encanta la rumba callejera.

Travel the world by bike. Already did big part of South America, Mexico and Europe. I play the guitar and the percussion and love street music (busking).
