Hi! I’m Diego — a speech-language pathologist, researcher, and artist from Brazil. I’m currently doing my PhD at UNICAMP, where I study how people perceive gender in the voice. I’m passionate about voices, identities, and the stories we tell through sound.

In 2023, I traveled alone to the U.S. to present my research at a conference — my first time abroad, with very limited English. The presentation was a success, and that trip completely changed my life… It’s also where I met my boyfriend!
