Hey there!

I’m Diego, a lawyer from Mexico who’s just starting out on the Couchsurfing journey. I’m not a big traveler yet, but I’m really looking forward to discovering new places, learning about different cultures, and making meaningful connections with people from all around the world.

I’m someone who’s always eager to learn something new whether it’s about life, or random fun facts. I used to play all kinds of sports like soccer, taekwondo, swimming, and basketball, but the one that truly stuck with me was American football. I played it for several years and now I coach it too, which has been an amazing and rewarding experience.

In my free time, I enjoy playing any kind of sport, gaming, cooking, doing magic tricks, trying new food, and just chilling with friends and family. I love discovering new flavors though I do have to avoid mayonnaise because of an allergy.

I live about 45 minutes from Mexico City by car (or around 1 hour and 35 minutes by public transport) with my mom, my sister, and our four amazing pets—two cats and two dogs. I enjoy all kinds of music, but I usually listen to rap, pop, and rock. I’m a big fan of movies especially suspense, action, sci-fi, and superhero genres. I don’t read a lot, but when I do, I really enjoy suspenseful or thought-provoking books. I’m always open to new recommendations!

I can teach you a bit of Spanish, some magic tricks, a few tips from American football. I’d love to learn about your culture, language, traditions, or anything you’re passionate about. I believe everyone has something valuable to share, and I’m always curious and open to learning.
