HEY there ! I'm a 32 years old Chileno, specifically from Concepción !
This 23rd of February of 2024 i'm starting my Working Holiday VISA in New Zealand.
I'm REALLY excited about this new adventure that's gonna last at least a year.

About me: I'm a chill person, I like to have fun, going outside, trekking, walk a lot and meet new places. I'm not too loud neither too quiet.
I'm easy to get along with and i like to talk.
I'm funny and laugh a lot.
I can cook some chilean food ( not a chef but i try )
I don't smoke and i don't drink too much, but always up for some beers.
I like pets and i think they like me.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Mostly because i want to meet people and practice my english, yeah, better to spend time in new places with new people than being alone. If you want a Chileno friend, here i am !

Intereses

Healthy life: I try to eat just organic food, currently doing Keto diet. intermittent fasting and often longer fasting. I also like yoga and meditation but haven't practiced in a while.

Sports: Trying to keep myself active practicing some sports such as gym or calistenics. I like playing soccer.

Languages: I like learning new languages. Right now i have an advance level of English, intermediate Portugese and i'm trying to learn German (I've been stuck with it but i pretend to dedicate more time).

Programming: I love web developing, programming and learning new languages.

Music: Play a little the guitar

Theatre: I once took an impro course, i really liked it and im planning to go back to it. Would be great to be part of an impro group in English.

Music: Porcupine Tree, Dream Theater, Pink Floyd, Opeth, Deftones, Foo fighters. Oldies like Cat Stevens, Eric Clapton, Credence Clearwater, Jazz, blues, regaetton (Old school regaetton, Bad bunny), ambient, techno.
Movies: Matrix saga. Fifth Element. Psychological and Action types.
Books: Not much of a reader, some books oriented to psicology and introduction to philosophy. Not really into novels but because i haven't tried.

Algo increíble que he hecho

When i traveled to Colombia for about 3 months, i went to Tayrona Park (Nort of Colombia). I slept alone for 1 week in a small house in the jungle with no electricity, a source of water in a barrel, and surrounded by Tarantulas, giant snails, some big frogs and geckos, really like taken out of Pokemon. First night was tough, i was almost having a panic attack cos all these things were inside the room, sleeping with me.
Of course i needed to be a Macho man so finally i overcomed my fears. After embracing the wilderness , i was able to appreciate the sound of the fauna and the symphony of the nature.
