Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I originally joined because I was traveling to see six of my favorite band's concerts. Then I got hired at one of those concerts, and two years later I'm traveling with my best friend building shows and festivals. Sometimes work provides a hotel, sometimes they don't. We don't mind camping, but sometimes it's good just to have somewhere to crash. And I've had some amazing experiences surfing that I wouldn't have had in a hotel.

Interests

When I say music, I mean to an intense degree. I basically have a music degree, and I do have a psych degree. Beyond that, I have ADHD so my interest is whatever the people around me are doing or talking about.

Music, Movies, and Books

Again, for the most part, I enjoy what I encounter. Tendency toward metal/rock and EDM, but basically anything except most country music. Comic book movies are my weakness, as are most action comedies, etc. I really enjoy watching stand-up comedy as well as fun educational stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made my profile two years ago, and now I get to change this section! I flew across the country alone and broke to see my favorite band play in 6 different cities. Got into the music industry as a stagehand. Since then I've survived some pretty tough sheeit and I'm finally getting myself back together, and I've gotten myself and my best friend on several different crews and now we travel building shows! (Remember the "music to an intense degree" part?)

I also saw the Solar Eclipse in its totality, which is my favorite of the recent things I've seen.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm super clean, if you do music I can sing with you. I'm typically told I'm good to have conversation with. Going through some $h!t? Lemme hear about it. Or I can be very quiet and leave you alone. Or we can go on an adventure. I'm easy. But not like that.
