About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm very easy going, a person that gets along with just about everyone. I see myself as a person who is open-minded to all cultures and religions.
I'm someone who loves being around people but can also enjoy a moment of solitude every once in a while.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have recently discovered the joys of traveling and photography and want to combine both of these into one hobby. I'm looking for people that can help me increase my skills in photography by showing me around in their cities and country.
However, I'm also a very big fan of history and love learning about the places I visit. While guidebooks and internet can teach you a lot about a place, I find that the local people are the real source of knowledge.
That's why I find myself wanting to join the couchsurfing community.
Of course, anyone that would be interested in staying or visting Belgium is more than welcome to get in contact.
Interests
Reading (Fiction mostly), movies and music.
I have recently been thinking about backpacking for an extended period of time so lately I've been very interested in reading travel blogs and guides.
I have spent some time traveling but want to see more of the word and show my vision of it through my photography. I'm particularly interested in landscape and night photography and I'm dabbling in HDR as well.

Music, Movies, and Books
Queen
Michael Jackson
Harry Potter
Anything from Dan Brown
Too many movies to sum up but I enjoy action, adventure, comedy movies the most.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While many people have done it as well, I found that moving to Japan and working in a Japanese company for over a year, is one of the things I'm most proud of. It was a big challenge and while it was a bit scary at first, it paid off in my mind.
For everything that frustrated me, there were a dozen things that amazed me and that allowed me to grow as a person.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm currently living in Leuven, a city about half an hour trainride from Brussels so easy access to the heart of Europe. I can show you the beautiful city of Leuven, home of one of Belgium's finest universities before we grab a beer on the old market place.
With Brussel only a short trainride away, it's very easy to plan a day trip and see the sights. I can take you to see the impressive Grand Place, a market place that is part of Unesco. After a day of walking around, a good beer in Brussel's most famous beer cafe, Delirium, will quench your thirst.
