Hi, my name is Dietrich, I‘m a German and I live in Leipzig. After finishing my A-levels in 2010 I’ve spent 8 months in New Zealand and I really enjoyed this time as a backpacker. This time was amazing and I have seen incredible landscapes and I have met many nice people from different countries. Back in Germany, I’ve started to study Mechanical Engineering in Leipzig and completed my Master in November 2016. Afterwards I was traveling in 6 different countries in Latinamerica for almost 5 Months. Another incredible experience. Since 2024 I am working for a new company with frequent stays in Mexico and I am enjoying again meeting new people from all over the world and exploring new culture.

I would like to see different places and countries around the world and I want to meet people from various cultures.

Hola, me llamo Dietrich, soy alemán y vivo en Leipzig. Después de terminar la escuela en 2010 he pasado 8 meses en Nueva Zelanda y he disfrutado mucho de este tiempo como mochilero. Este tiempo fue increíble y he visto paisajes increíbles y he conocido a mucha gente agradable de diferentes países. De vuelta en Alemania, he empezado a estudiar Ingeniería Mecánica en Leipzig y terminé mi Máster en noviembre de 2016.

Después estuve viajando por 6 países diferentes de Latinoamérica durante casi 5 Meses. Otra experiencia increíble. Desde 2024 estoy trabajando para una nueva empresa con estancias frecuentes en México y estoy disfrutando de nuevo conocer gente nueva de todo el mundo y explorar nueva cultura.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfing is a great invention.
You can meet new people from different cultures, talk about life, hobbies and experiences.
It is a nice feeling to spend some time with people from other nations together.

Pienso que Couchsurfing es un concepto muy bueno. Se puede conocer gente de culturas distantas, hablar sobre la vida, hobbies, pasiones y experencias. Es una sensacion muy buena tener amigos en todo el mundo.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did Couchsurfing several times in Europe and I had the chance to meet awesome hosts. During my journey in South America I continued it and now in 2024/ 2025 I had the chance to meet new people in Mexico and exploring new things.

Hice Couchsurfing varias veces en Europa y tuve la oportunidad de conocer a anfitriones increíbles. Durante mi viaje por Sudamérica lo continué y ahora en 2024/ 2025 tuve la oportunidad de conocer gente nueva en México y explorar cosas nuevas.

Interests

I really like to enjoy doing sports activities. I often play beach volleyball with my friends and like to play soccer and tennis. In summer I also go outdoor climbing. The rest of my free time I spend with my family and friends. I really enjoy to learn about new people and different cultures and like traveling. I like to learn from different point of views and to enjoy having new experiences.

Me encanta practicar deportes variados. Yo juego voleibal playa muchas veces con mis amigos me gusta jugar futbol y tenis tambien. Paso mucho tiempo con mi familia y mis amigos y me encanta viajar y conocer gente de paises diferentes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you have time available, I would really enjoy to spend some time with you to explore the city, to go to a party, to see new things or just to have a chat in a bar while having local drinks or food. We can talk about traveling, sports, and all other things. If you want we also can cook together. If you are busy, that's absolutely no problem, I also can spend the day on my own. I'm also a tidy person and will leave the room as I had found it.

Si tienes tiempo libre, me encantaria pasar tiempo contigo para explorar la ciudad, ver cosas nuevas o solo hablar en un bar con comidas y bebidas tipica de la region. Si eres muy ocupado, no hay una problema tampoco. Yo puedo pasar el dia solo para mi tambien.
